WASHINGTON, DC – In a major win for natural the natural products industry, the Supreme Court blocked the Biden Administration’s vaccine and testing mandate for businesses. NPA filed two petitions with the U.S. Court of Appeals on November 11, 2021 and December 7, 2021 arguing the rule would slow delivery times and drive-up costs for consumers, retailers and manufacturers.
“We weighed in on this case because we were deeply concerned about the impact this rule would have on our businesses ability to meet demand for natural products during an historic labor shortage and supply chain crisis,” said Daniel Fabricant, Ph.D., President and CEO of NPA. “We are pleased with the outcome, and we will continue to focus our attention on expanding access for natural prodcuts that have skyrocketed in demand during the pandemic.”
