The U.S. has the safest dietary supplement and natural product supply in the world, but there are still those who unfortunately want to break the rules.
“The inclusion of dietary supplements in this rule represents a clear infringement of the federal statute governing dietary supplements, a complete disregard for Congressional intent, and an unfair targeting of the dietary supplement industry,” said Dr. Fabricant
“Defining ‘natural’ for food is a major undertaking, and NPA feels that no harm will result from FDA extending the comment period due to the interest, significance, and complexities surrounding the topic.”
